Far be it from me to delight in a drunk driving case, but when the alleged perpetrator is using a, "Liberals are out to get me," defense I really find it funny. This coming from the same guy who left his State Senate district to live in Madison with his staffer/girlfriend at the same time he was married to someone else up in Fon du Lac. He lost a recall election last summer for supporting Wisconsin's repeal of collective bargaining rights, and I'm not sure what's he's doing these days except trying to fight these charges. It has turned out that he has beaten the OWI charges in his jury trial due to lack of evidence. A judge is set to rule on whether he should lose his license for a year for failing to submit to a breathalyzer when he was stopped.
