Woman Claims Egging by Recall Workers on Way to McDonald's

The Republican Party of Wisconsin has released a statement and affidavit from a 40-year-old woman from Oconomowoc who claims that she was verbally assaulted and had her car vandalized by Recall Walker volunteers in Delafield.  This story is a little fishy to me.  First, why didn't she call the police?  Second, if you're going to feed your toddlers crappy food, why put their health and safety at further risk by driving all the way to the McDonald's in Delafield rather than just going to the one in Oconomowoc?  After all, the woman, Alexandra Carney, is apparently not a great driver.  She has two speeding violations for going more than 14 mph over the speed limit on a highway, according to Wisconsin court records (one in 2007 and one in from just last month).  I'm not trying to say this justifies the alleged assault... just that there may be more going on here than her side of the story, and a police investigation would really have helped give her side a little more credibility.
